PK appeals community to join protest rally on World Refugee Day | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 18: Panun Kashmir has appealed to Kashmiri Pandit community to participate in large numbers in the protest rallies and demonstrations on the occasion of World Refugee Day on June 20 all over the world. Addressing the Polit Bureau and the activists, Vijay Bhat, President, Panun Kashmir said, "Time has come to show our might and political strength as the entire political establishment of the Indian state has let us down. It has failed to address the core issue of our genocide in spite of the fact that when the religiously cleansed Kashmiri Pandit community had given its blue print and road map in terms of Margdarshan Resolution-91 for their comprehensive return and rehabilitation, clearly demanding the establishment of Separate Homeland in Kashmir to thwart any further communal conspiracy to throw Kashmiri Pandits out of their ancestral homeland by the separatist jihadis of the majority community in Kashmir, he said. Explaining the rationale behind organizing the protest demonstrations and Rallies all over the world and entire India on June 20, Vijay Bhat said, "Kashmiri Pandits are refugees in their own country as they have not crossed the borders of their country of which they are the bonafide citizens besides being the original state subjects of Jammu and Kashmir. But the Indian state has failed to restore their social, political, religious, educational and cultural rights in their homeland. Instead it has joined hands with our killers to keep the atrocities inflicted upon us under cover so that the majority community of Kashmir is bailed out from the crime of our genocide. |
