Jammu, June 18: National Panther Student Union (NPSU) today urged government to reconstitute defunct PSC immediately. According to press release, union State Secretary Asha Rani lambasted the laxity approach of the government in reconstituting PSC. As the exercise for appointment of 99 officers till date is pending, besides the other 65 candidates selected in 2014 also remain awaiting for their training up to this time. Although the exercise was delayed due to the flood situation and election, but after the formulation of the government in March, the defunct PSC is yet to be reconstituted which is utter failure on the part of the government. "Time and again several vacancies are notified by PSC, but even then no examination has been taken place. All the educated student community went in deep frustration and is against such kind of deep slumber by the government"' she said, adding that the government who is only concerned with their power and people aspirations remains meaningless for them. They further urged Governor NN Vohra to intervene in this matter of urgency. So that the educated youth who desire to serve as administrators dot not remain sufferers any more.
