BSF bids adieu to jawan killed in cross-border firing

Srinagar, July 10: Border Security Force (BSF) on Friday bade a tearful adieu to its jawan who was killed in Pakistani firing along the Line of Control (LoC) in Nowgam sector of North Kashmir's Kupwara district. A ceremony to pay tributes to Kishan Kumar Dubey, the slain soldier of 119 Battalion BSF, was held at Subsidiary Training Centre (STC) Humhama to pay tributes to Rimo Senior officers led by Special Director General BSF and Inspector General of BSF paid homage. Floral wreaths were laid on the coffin carrying the body of the slain jawan.
Later, Dubey's body was flown to his native state of Jharkhand for last rites.
