Peaceful protest marks Al-Quds Day to express solidarity with Palestine

Jammu, July 10: On the occasion of Al-Quds Day, a peaceful protest to express Solidarity with people of Palestine, to oppose Zionism and Israel's oppression on Palestine was held today under the banner of Anjuman-e-Imamia, jammu in collaboration with All Ladakh Muslim Student Association, Jammu, Anjuman-e-Haideri, Anjuman-e-Hussaini and other associations of Jammu.
A procession was held against the genocide in Palestine by Israel and in support of Legitimate Rights of the people of Palestine and of elsewhere who have been oppressed.
After offering Friday Prayers at Jamia Masjid Peer Mitha, Jammu, a large number of Shiaite devotees held a peaceful protest to impress upon the International Community to come forward in a big way to help the people of Palestine. The protestors holding banner and placards, peacefully marched out from Karbala complex to Shahidi Chowk where the speakers addressed the gathering and condemned the atrocities of Israel over the people of Palestine.
Speaking on the occasion, Syed Amanat Ali Shah, President Anjuman-e-Imamia, said that Islam is a religion of peace and harmony which always stands against tyranny of brutal forces like Israel, United States and other like-minded agencies and exhorted on maintaining a harmony among society and condemn all types of injustice/atrocities on innocent humans irrespective of caste, creed and color throughout the world.
Moulana, Ali BadshahNaqvi Imam JummaImamia Masjid Peer Mitha said we gathered here to pay homage to the children who have been killed by Israel forces in Palestine and the innocent killings done by ISIS in Iraq and Syria.
Prof.Shujat Khan, Gen Secretary, Anjuman-e-Imamia, speaking to media said that it was Late Imam Khomeini who propounded the thought of Quds and brought all the Muslims of the world under one flag to fight against the tyrant forces like Israel and United states.
Mohammad Bakir (President, ALMSAJ) and students leaders from Anjuman-e-Imamia Jammu and All Ladakh Muslim Students Association extended gratitude to Ajuman-e-Haidery, Anjuman-e-Hussaini Bathindi and other Organizations for supporting their cause.
