Two theft cases worked out in Akhnoor | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 22: Akhnoor police claimed to have worked out two theft cases here today with the arrest of three persons. As per police spokesperson, one motorcycle bearing registration number 5027/JK02AP stolen some time ago and was recovered today besides the arrest of bike lifters. Following complaint about theft of vehicle, police registered a case FIR No 100/15 u/s 379 RPC accordingly and started investigations and apprehended two person on whose disclosures the stolen bike was recovered. Police said the accused have been identified namely as Sunil Kumar s/o Ratan Lal and Prince Kumar s/o Bachan Lal (both residents of Chak Singha Thathi). Yet during the course of investigation of a theft, police arrested one Inderjeet Kumar s/o Zakir Parshad of Betiya Moti Hari Bihar presently at Sungal Morh. "Police on his disclosures recovered one digital camera NIKON and Cash Rs 1400/- which he had stolen from the shop of Deepak Choudhary r/o Akhnoor. A case under FIR 128/15 u/s 457/380 RPC already stands registered in this connection. |
