| Vice Chancellor SKUAST-J launches IES Conference-2016 website | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, July 22: Vice Chancellor of Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu (SKUAST Jammu) Professor Pradeep K. Sharma today launched the website www.iesconf.com of the Indian Ecological Society (IES)
Conference on " Natural Resource Management : Ecological Perspectives" being hosted by SKUAST of Jammu from February 18-20, 2016. According to press release, the function was organized by the Indian Ecological Society, J&K Chapter.
The multidisciplinary conference on natural resource management is aimed to discuss the issues concerning land and water resources, crop environment interactions against changing climate, integrated nutrient management, integrated pest management, forestry tree plantations, policy and planning for sustainable agricultural and rural development and farmers-industry-scientists interface for technology transfer and refinement, feedback mechanism and extension strategies.
In the conference about 300 delegates are expected from within the country and abroad. |
