| Vanmahotsav inaugurated in BSF school | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, July 22: BSF School Jammu in a grand function under the banner of eco club celebrated Van Mahotsav in school campus with lots of zest and zeal. According to press release, the purpose of organising Van Mahotsav was to sensitize the people about the significance of environment. Environmental rally was taken out to aware general masses and make their approach towards environment more meaningful. Principal Dr S S Khokhar flagged off the rally. Speeches educating the children of the benefits of plantation and saving the environment by doing their bit were delivered on special morning assembly.
Saplings were planted by the Chief Guest Rakesh Sharma IG BSF Jammu FTR alongwith the other officers of the force amidst chanting of mantras by five devtas. The students took the pledge of planting more and more trees. Chief Guest urged the students to plant a tree on their birthdays which will infuse the feeling of giving among them. |
