| Magotra named manager of Indian volleyball team | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 22: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Volleyball Association of Jammu and Kashmir, Kuldip Magotra has been nominated as manager of the Indian volleyball team heading for the 18th Asian Senior Men Volleyball Championship scheduled to be held at Tehran in Iran from July 31 to August 8.
Also vice president of the Volleyball Association of India and Sher-e-Kashmir Sports awardee of 1987, Magotra earlier represented India in 3rd Asian Junior Volleyball Championship held at Bangkok in the year 1986 as technical delegate.
In 1989, he was part of the Indian team in 5th Asian Senior Men Volleyball Championship held at Seoul in South Korea as manager.
A widely travelled official, Magotra today left for Bangalore to join the Indian team, presently attending to a camp.The team shall depart for Tehran on July 28. |
