Ambardar takes up migrant teachers' promotion grade issue with CM | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, July 22: BJP MLC Surinder Ambardar today met chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and again took up the issue of migrant teachers who have been given promotion of Master grade but have been told to join in Kashmir and strongly advocated for the immediate revocation of joining orders especially of female teachers who are close to ninety four in number. Ambardar was also accompanied by Priya Sethi MoS Education culture and information who also shared the view that female teachers should be given the promotion benefits and should be retained in Jammu. Ambardar while discussing the issue with the Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed said that all these teachers especially females are not the fresh recruits but most of them have been serving in Jammu and adjoining areas from last 25 years and none of them are willing to join in Kashmir which eventually will lead to their forgoing of their promotion grade effect and that will not be seen as a pro-employee decision of the government. If at this juncture when they have family to look after are told to leave everything in mess at home and join in Kashmir doesn't not make any sense. Ambardar urged the chief minister that the order needs to be revoked as all these teachers are already overdue for their promotion grade and have been waiting for too long and any conditions as such which only add upto to their apathy and hardships which they have been facing during last so many years. |
