CRPF jawan commits suicide by shooting self in north Kashmir 7/23/2015 12:33:32 AM Early Times Report srinagar, July 22: A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself with his service rifle in the apple township of Sopore in north Kashmir district of Baramulla. Official sources here today said panic gripped CRPF headquarter at Chinkipora in Sopore when gunshots were heard early in the morning from a bunker. They said security personnel present in the camp rushed towards the bunker and found Head Constable L R Thakrey lying in a pool of blood. Thakrey, posted with C-company of 179th Battalion, was immediately taken to a hospital where he was declared brought dead.
