BLSKS presents musical play 'Ganga Avtran' 7/25/2015 11:20:55 PM Jammu, July 25 : Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSLS) today presented its 60th musical play 'Ganga Avtran' here at office premises. According to press release, former deputy director health Dr. Tara Singh Charak was the chief guest while former Regional Director of field publicity V.K. Magotra, Director of event Romesh Chander were the guest of honour on the occasion. The musical play is written by M.L.Dogra Chairman (BLSKS) .The programe commenced with Songs "Jal Hi Jeevan Hai" , " Pani Ka Mul Pachano" , " Ganga Tera Pani Amrit Pal Pal Mela Hota Jaye " music of the play was composed by renowned singer Raju Bajgal . The Chief Guest lauded the efforts of the organizers in making such awareness programmes colorful and effective on the theme of save water and sanitation. Earlier in his welcome address M.L.Dogra, Chairman throw light on the life of Sant Bhagirath, was a great king who brought the River Ganges, personified as the river goddess Ganga to Earth from the heavens and informed media the Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Santhan presented 445 cultural shows to promote the culture of Jammu and Kashmir. He further said that BLSKS presented 245 awareness programs on prevention of AIDS, Water Sanitation, National Integration, and Rural Development and save the girl child and 60 musical plays and 110 Theatre play were presented since 2011 to till date for the welfare of general public.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
