Jammu, July 25: The Annual Hawan at Maha Begheneya Peeth (Kheer Bhawani) Bhawani Nagar, Janipura, Jammu was performed on the auspicious occasion of "Ashad Ashtami" today (Friday) with great religious fervor and devotion. As per the press release The Hawan commenced on Thursday and continued uninterrupted throughout the night Devotees of the Divine Mother participated in the Hawan in large numbers and continued throughout the night chanting Mantras and singing Bhajans / devotional songs charging the atmosphere highly with religious fervor. Puran Ahuti, rice meal was served as "Prashad" to all the devotees who visited the Shrine throughout the day. Thousands of devotees who came to offer prayers and seek blessings of the Divine Mother, took the Prashad with great reverence and excitement. The entire arrangement was made by Ardh Rath Maha Regheneya Sewa Sanstha Trust, which manages the Peeth. The arrangements made for Hawan and for distribution of Prashad especially, were highly appreciated by the devotees. Sandhya Arti was also offered. |
