| Despite status quo construction of Panchayat Ghar Pachwal continues | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, July 25: Alleging violation of High Court directions i.e. the status quo, the construction work of Panchayat Ghar Pachwal is in progress, the locals from Nadoli Panchayat today staged protest demonstration against district civil administration here today at DDC Complex Kathua. Locals were demanding Panchayat Ghar at Nadoli instead of Pachwal.
Tarsem Lal, Naib Sarpanch who led the protest alleged that Kathua district administration is violating status quo direction of High Court reasons better known to authorities. He further accused administration of encouraging contractors to complete the construction work of Panchayat Ghar at Pachwal.
Veena Devi, another protester, said people want to have Panchayat Ghar at Nadoli instead of Pachwal as Nadoli falls in centre of the Panchayat. Protestors threatened to block National Highway if administration fails to stop the ongoing construction work.
Prem Lal said despite knowing the fact i.e. about status quo, the administration is adopting a non serious approach towards its construction of Panchayat Ghar. |
