| GGM Science College students hold protest against JU | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, July 25: Students of GGM Science College held protest demonstration against Vice Chancellor Jammu University for carry on system.
The students of the college blocked the college gate and raised the slogan against VC, Dr R D Sharma and boycotted the classes and came on roads. They blocked the road and sat there raising slogans to fulfil their demands.
While talking to media person President Sahil Singh Jamwal of GGM Science College said that the VC Jammu University had first given the date for decision on July 18, 2015 and postponed to 22July.
On 22 July when all the students reached the University and gathered near the VC, chamber the Dean Student welfare (DSW) of Jammu University talked ill mannerly to girls of Parade College and boys of other colleges and again postponed the date of decision.
Sahil also said that the Jammu University is diverting the decision again and again and ignoring the issue of students.
He challenged the Jammu University that if the University doesn't give its decision in favour of students on July 29, students will once again come on road and expand the protest. He also said they will block the Vikram Chowk flyover on July 29 if the decision doesn't come in their favour.
Others present there were Vice president Vikas, General secretary Clinton, Abhay, Shaun, Akash, Pranav, Naresh, Sahil Sandhu and others. |
