| Awareness camp for farmers held at Doda | | | Early Times Report
kishtwar, July 25: In its efforts to reach out to the farmers of District Doda, Department of Agriculture, Doda organized first camp under Krishi Jagriti campaign at block headquarter Udhianpur,
About 50 farmers of the area participated in the camp which was inaugurated by AEO Udhianpur Zone Haroon Hussain.
On the occasion, Hussain gave a brief about different schemes run by the department. He advised the farmers to avail the benefits of scheme run for the betterment of farming community.
M A Beg District agriculture officer who presided the function as chief guest spoke in length about different activities and programmes run by the department.
He also advised the farmers to take the benefit of soil testing lab at Doda which is being run by department to test the soils, added that the farmers could go for farm mechanization so that different farm operations can be done more efficiently. |
