| CUK VC inaugurates training prog on research methodology | | |

Srinagar, July 25 : Central University of Kashmir (CUK) officiating Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Mehraj udDin today inaugurated the 7-day training programme on research methodology for the research scholars organised by the varsity's department of Economics. Addressing the participants, Prof. Mehraj udDin, highlighted the importance of the research methodology in carrying out useful research in all sectors. "The scholars must appropriately learn the research methodologies as it forms the staircase for solving any research problem and to conduct their research meticulously," he said.
Prof. Mehraj udDin also shared his experiences during his initial days of research with the participants. Dean School of Social Sciences, Prof. G M Bhat, while addressing the gathering said the main aim and objective of holding the training programme was to acquaint the scholars with the types of methodologies, which can be adopted for conducting research on different topics.
He said that during the programme, senior faculty would also throw light on various topics and share their experience with the scholars.
Dean School of Management, Dr. Abdul Gani, Dean School of Media Studies, Prof. S Fayyaz and Head Department of Political Science, Prof. Noor Ahmad Baba also shared their wide experiences in the field of research with the participants. |
