| Sangarsh demands vigilance inquiry against BGSBU Registrar | | | Early Times Report
RAJOURI, July 25 : Sangarsh, a civic movement struggling for Justice, Peace, Prosperity & Brotherhood has demanded a Vigilance inquiry against Registrar Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU) following his involvement in the recently exposed scams/financial irregularities.
Sangarsh general secretary Dr Suresh Kumar also demanded to make public forensic report of the investigations that were carried out by the Rajouri police in connection with scholarship scam, financial irregularities and other misdoing in the BGSBU and Registrar as well as Deputy Registrar Finance was quizzed by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of Rajouri police.
Dr Suresh Kumar and other members also expressed their concern over the possible political transfer of Dr Haseeb Mughal, SSP who has constituted SIT under his supervision and has exposed the scholarship scam and other financial irregularities in BGSBU.
Sangarsh held a meeting at the campus of Jammu University where Dr Suresh Said, " From the very first day we were demanding the interrogation of the Registrar of the BGSBU who is the main master mind behind all financial bungling as he is heading all the key positions in the university from the last eight years".
Nitan Sharma, President Jammu University wing said, " Sangarsh has apprehension that in order to save culprits some political forces are very much active behind the curtains." |
