| Three held with 862 bottles of Corex | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 25 : Police arrested three persons and recovered 862 bottles of corex from their possession in Pacca Danga police station. Police spokesman said that on specific information party led by Inspector Kuldeep Khajuria, SHO Pacca Danga, Jammu raised a naka at Manda on the directions of Rajiv Pandey, Incharge SSP Jammu under the close supervision of Parbeet Singh SDPO City North and Shivkumar Singh Chouhan, SP City North, Jammu.
During the naka checking a Santro car bearing registration number JK02A-9274 on its way from Delhi towards Srinagar was intercepted at Manda naka point and thoroughly checked. "During checking, 862 bottles of Corex have been recovered from the possession of the occupants of the Santro Car", said police spokesman adding that during questioning the occupants of the Santro Car disclosed their names as Reyaz Ahmed of Sarnal Pain Anantnag (Driver), Showkat Wani of Sarna Walla Anantnag and Rasat Khurshid of Lajbal Anantnag.
The Santro Car has been seized and all trio occupants of Santro Car have also been arrested. In this regard a case under FIR No. 123/2015 under section 8/21/22 NDPS Act, 48 Excise Act under Drugs Ordinance Act has been registered at Pacca Danga police station and further investigation is on. |
