Burglars strike at two shops in Ramban, make futile bid to loot Cooperative Bank | | | Early Times Report
Banihal, July 25: Unknown thieves broke into two business establishments namely M/s Cooperative Marketing Society and M/s Evergreen Cloth House in the main market Ramban and decamped with Rs 455000/-cash and clothes. Meanwhile the burglars also made a bid to break open the branch of Cooperative Bank however it turned futile. According to sources that burglars decamped with Rs 445000/- from M/s Cooperative Marketing Society (CMS) fair prize shop and Rs ten thousand (10000) cash and clothes from ever green cloth shop respectively." "They also tried to break open Cooperative Bank Branch Ramban but failed to break the locks of the bank, sources said. Sources said the two shops which were burgled and bank which witnessed a futile looting bid are at stone's throw i.e. hardly 200 meters away from the Police Station Ramban but the thieves managed their job successfully and decamped with Rs 455000/- in cash and other items. Meanwhile the concerned police have registered a case under FIR No 73/ 2015 u/s 457/380 and have started investigations in this regard. Sources said that police is still clue less about the thieves but suspects are being hunted down. |
