| 1 injured, 3 vehicles, motorcycle damaged due to landslides | | | Early Times Report
Banihal, July 25: One person got injured while three vehicles, one motorcycle also damaged due to land slide triggered after incessant rains in Banihal of Ramban district.
According to sources three Tata Sumos got damaged after a landslide hit Mahoo road near Kawana Bass in Banihal today.
"The incident took place at Saturday noon when three tata sumo vehicles waiting for the passengers in Mahoo road near Kawana Bass some 25 kilometers from Banihal town, sources said. They added that a land slide alongwith big boulders and trees in the area also resulted serious injuries to one person and three Tata Sumos bearing registration numbers JK14A -8273, JK19 2149 &.JK19 -3247 and one motorcycle number bearing PB 39c 6855 got damaged.
Sources said the Injured identified as Mubashir Ahmed s/o Ghulam Hassan Chopan of Mahoo Banihal was shifted to Sub District Hospital Banihal from where he was shifted him to Srinagar for further treatments.
According to eye witnesses said that there are near about six to seven persons have a close sha\ve when they have a miraculous escape when the slide came down. |
