Jammu, Aug 4: The National Students' Union of India (NSUI) on Tuesday held a strong protest at Jammu to oppose the suspension of 25 Congress MPs. NSUI activists tied black ribbons around their mouth and placards in their hands written with slogans observed a mourn protest. Leading the Protest State President NSUI Neeraj Kundan said that the dramatic act suspension of Congress MPs is a black day for Indian democracy, who were demanding for resignation of External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje over Lalit Modi row and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh over Vyapam scam. He claimed that it's not Emergency like situation but full Emergency in India to keep the MP away from the parliament and the core aim of such tyranny is just to pass anti-public bills. He added that Modi government expects the opposition to sit in a corner by keeping Finger on the lips. Is this democracy, he questioned. |
