Akhnoor, Aug 4: Patron of Chenab Army Pre Primary School (CAPPS), Akhnoor Major General Kulpreet Singh along with Naveeta K Singh, Chairperson, FWO today inaugurated new building of CAPPS-III here at Karnail Singh Vihar in Akhnoor Garrison.
In his inaugural address, Singh emphasized the importance of education in today's world and highlighted the important role being played by Pre Primary Schools in empowering Army children, especially those of JCOs and other ranks.
The new building has six well laid out classrooms with thematic pictorial stories. The classrooms provide a lively environment with colourful furniture and paintings. The building also has an activity room for extra-curricular activities and provide conducive educational environment. |
