| MVIS felicitates its district, state level champs | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 22: MV International School (MVIS) felicitated its proud winners of various medals at the District and State Level Championships organized by Department of Youth Services & Sports.
In the State Level (U-14) Speedball, Gold Medal winners Adeev Kundal-8 A, Pratham Thapa-8 A; Silver & Bronze Medal holders Dikshant and Himanshu Sharma of 9 A were felicitated. In the Girls category, Mansi Slathia-9 A, who won Gold Medal in (U-14) and Vishal- 9B, who won Silver Medal in (U-17) District Level Speedball Championship were honoured.
For (U-14) Discus Throw, Sparsh of 8 B won the Gold Medal & Priynka Slathia of 7 B won Gold in Shot Put Throw. In (U-17) Sanjeev-10 B won the Bronze Medal in Shot Put Throw. In Athletics, Shubharti-11 A won Gold Medal in 400m race; Sahil Kumar- 11 A won Gold Medal in 100m race & Shivani- 12 B won Bronze Medal in 1500m race.
Four students have been selected into the J&K Team for National Level Sports Championships. Adeev Kundal & Pratham Thapa of 8 A for Speedball (U-14); Priynka Slathia of 7 B (U-14) for Short Put and Atish Choudhary of 10 A for (U-17) Football. The Director & the Principal congratulated the faculty members and the winners for their efforts. Chairman of the school Hira Lal Abrol motivated the players for raising the name of MV International School to greater heights. |
