Army, Nirvana Academy, BVM School organize painting, quiz competitions Golden Jubilee celebrations of 1965 Indo-Pak war 9/22/2015 11:45:55 PM EARLY TIMES REPORT RAMBAN, Sept 22: To celebrate the Golden Jubilee of 1965 Indo-Pak War, the 109 INF Battalion (TA) MARATHA LI in collaboration with Nirvana Academy, Ramban and Bharatiya Vidya Mandir High School Ramban organized an essay, painting and quiz competitions in the school premises, here today. Col Alex Mohan, Commanding Officer, 109 INF Battalion (TA) MARATHA LI was the chief guest and Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Ramban, Zubaida Parveen was the guest of honor on the occasion. A total of 115 students representing 12 different schools of Ramban participated in the daylong competitions. The first, second and third prize in painting competition was won by Karan Vir, Sandhya Khajuria and Abdul Basit of 5th class all from New Convent Institute respectively whereas the consolation prizes were bagged by Muskan of 4th class from Golden Era Public School and Garima Khajuria of 3rd class from Vishal Academy. In essay writing competition, the first, second and third prize were claimed by Aruna of 7th class from National Academy, Mrigakshi Khajuria of 8th class from Vishal Academy and Diksha of 8th class from Bharatiya Vidya Mandir High School respectively while the consolation prizes were given to Bhargav Gupta of 6th class and Palavi Rai of 8th class both from Bharatiya Vidya Mandir High School. Similarly, in quiz competition the first prize was won by Ravi Team of Bharatiya Vidya Mandir whereas second and third prize were claimed by Chenab Team of National Academy and Jhelum Team of Government Higher Secondary School Ramban respectively.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
