SKUAST celebrates world students day 10/16/2015 9:50:35 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 16: Faculty of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandary Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences & Technology of Jammu today celebrated "World Students Day" on the theme 'Science and Humanity' in commemoration of 84th birth anniversary of 'Bharat Ratna',Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. On this occasion Dr. M.M.S. Zama, Dean, F.V.Sc. & A.H., SKUAST-Jammu threw light on the life and significant achievements of Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, famously known as 'Missile Man of India' who served as 11th President of India from 2002 to 2007. Commemorating Dr. Kalam's valuable contribution to the science & technology and his literary works. He said that the Government of Switzerland declared May 26 as 'Science Day' to celebrate Dr Kalam's visit to the European countries.
