Embezzlement in SSA funds VC directs SSP CB for registration case against teachers 10/16/2015 10:58:22 PM Early Times Report Srinagar, Oct 16 The State Vigilance Commission has directed SSP Crime Branch Srinagar, for registration of formal case against teachers involved in misappropriation of funds under Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan and Mid Day Meal Schemes. According to statement issued here, earlier, while taking serious note of a complaint lodged against some Teachers posted at Middle School Ahgam Rajwar Handwara, regarding misappropriation of funds and misuse of official position, Chief Education Officer, Kupwara on the directions of the State Vigilance Commission had appointed District Education Planning Officer Kupwara as Enquiry Officer to look into the allegations levelled therein. The report submitted by the Chief Education Officer, Kupwara alongwith the report of District Education Planning Officer, Kupwara to the State Vigilance Commission, prima-facie established charges of huge embezzlement in Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan and Mid Day Meal Schemes against the teachers and the Head Teacher working in the years 2011-12 and 2012-13 in Middle School Ahgam Rajwar, Handwara.
