Students stages dharna, allege College fails to address students' problems 10/16/2015 11:00:13 PM Jammu, Oct 16: After the lapse of one year, students of GCET, Chak Bhalwal again staged a dharna after boycotting their classes under the banner of NSUI. Leading the protest demonstration, Ajay Kumar, National delegate,NSUI, J&K said that the college administration is working including NDA government which is indulged only in hollow promises and has even not implemented its own written promises which depicts the lethargic approach of college administration towards problems of students and instead of solving burning issues, they were trying to disperse agitation of students. They said that it is one of the premier institute of the state but is being ignored by higher education department and even college has adopted a ignorant approach towards the pithy condition of college which is a very sorry figure. "This time NSUI will not negotiate till college authorities will give a demo of their seriousness towards students and we will take a serious note of such teachers who are persistently harassing students of college who are sitting on agitation and the agitation will not till a positive outcome, ' they stated.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
