| Women critically injured in attack, accused held | | | Early time report
Bhaderwah, Oct 16: Police today claimed to have arrested accused from Draina village of Bhalla ,Bhaderwah for allegedly assaulting a lady with a sharp weapon inflicting her critical injuries .
The accused has been identified namely as Saqib of Draina Bhalla while the injured lady has been identified as Farida Begum w/o Farooq Ahmed Mir r/o Draina ,Bhalla Bhaderwah.
According to police sources, a youth hailing from Draina of Bhalla in Bhaderwah today allegedly attacked a lady with a sharp weapon causing serious injury to her.
Sources said lady was alone at her home in Draina village when a boy allegedly attacked her with a sharp weapon and also managed to flee when his victim raised alarm for help. The injured women was immediately rushed to a nearby District Hospital (DH) Doda .
In this connection a case FIR no 107/2015 u/s 452/307 RPC stands registered at Police Station Bhaderwah while acting swiftly the police have nabbed the accused and investigation is going on . Police sources however added that injured lady was unable to get her statement recorded when the last report poured in. |
