| One killed, another injured in road mishap | | | Early Times Report
Udhampur Oct 16: one person was killed and another sustained injuries when the vehicle they were travelling was hit by an unknown truck in Udhampur late last night. Police have identified the deceased namely as Mohinder Singh s/o Chain Singh of battal Ballian while the injured has been identified as Pushvinder Singh s/o Kulwant Singh of Ritti Udhampur According to the police sources a bike roll down from the road after it was hit by a truck coming from the on the same way resulting critical injuries to the two riders on the bike. Locals informed the concerned Police Station Udhampur and a police team was rushed to spot which shifted to injured to District Hospital (DH) Udhampurwhere one of the riders was declared brought dead and another was referred to Govt Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) Jammu owing to his crtical injuries. Meantime after getting postpartum, the police handed over the body to family members. |
