Vijaypur, Oct 16: A police public meet was organized under the supervision of SSP Samba Joginder Singh at Vijaypur in which A A Wani DIG-Jammu Samba Kathua Range was chief guest on this occasion.
During the meeting the speakers from Police said urged the people to maintain harmony and be an eye to police about the activities of subversive activities of anti social elements.
Prominent persons present in this meeting included Master Hasham Ali, Shiv Gupta, Babal Gupta, Sodagar Gupta, Jang Bahadur, Narotam Singh, Yash Pal Sharma, Madan Lal Gupta and Jarnail Singh who raised various pubic issues like encroachment of land, drug menace, encroachment of forest land and traffic menace
DIG A A Wani assured that the police will take up the matters with concerned quarters for their redressal while police will take care of the issues falling under its jurisdiction
