| Road Safety Awareness Program held at LTEM School | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, Oct 30 : Learning Temple English Medium School, Kathua organized a Road Safety Awareness Program today in School premises . The Program was chaired and inaugurated by Rahul Yadav, Dr. Bharat Bhushan, CEO, Lakhanpur-Sarthal Development Authority and Amarjeet Singh, Regional Transport Authority Kathua jointly. An exhibition was also stalled in which many self-made models of vehicles and charts were displayed. The students beautifully explained the importance of Safety on the Road, Light Signals, Seat Belts and Helmets to the visitors. An ideal model of two passengers both wearing Helmets was also shown in the Exhibition to create an awareness amongst all who drive Motor Cycles or other two wheelers. By showing fractured limbs due to accidents, it was stressed that every driver or the passenger should observe rules and regulations of traffic and value to original limbs of body, because duplicate limbs can never by as original as the parts of vehicles.
Message of Road Safety was simultaneously displayed on LCD Screen. After viewing the whole messages, a Pledge was also taken by VIPs and others present to observe all safety measures on the road.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Bharat Bhushan appreciated the efforts of Learning Temple School for doing something new every time. He threw light on the loss of lives due to accidents which often occur due to the carelessness of the drivers. He wished that such awareness should be provided to the public at large in the City also. |
