Jammu, Oct 30 : All Jammu and Kashmir State Pensioners Association (AJKSPA) today demanded release of six per cent DA, from July 2015.
According to press release, a meeting of AJKSPA was held under the chairpersonship of Madan Lal Abrol. Addressing the meeting, Abrol said that the pensioners are suffering from not receiving the DA, because the festivals are on hand, it is very difficult to celebrate festival.
He said that J&K Bank of Jammu Kashmir has issued order for Festival Advance upto Rs. 20000 will be recovered with everyone with the pension. But it is very sorry to say that Banks are charging 13.5 percent interest for the said amount. |
