| Vigilance Awareness Week by Power Grid concludes | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 30 : Power Grid Corporation of India observed Vigilance Awareness Week from 26th October to 31st October 2015 in its all offices falling under Northern Region Transmission System-II. During the Vigilance Awareness Week, several programmes were organized in various schools, colleges apart from site offices for creating awareness among the employees and their family members highlighting evils of corruption and its impact on our society.
On the concluding day, a seminar was organized at POWERGRID Regional Headquarters at Jammu where S.K.Sharma, Executive Director NR-II was the Chief Guest. A.K.PAL General Manager (AM) and senior officers of POWERGRID, Northern Region-II were also present. In his address, S.K.Sharma, Executive Director Northern Region Transmission System-II advised the employees to work without fear and with integrity. He said truth and honesty pays in the long run and one should perform his/ her duties without any fear of the results. He congratulated the organizers of the week for smooth conduct of the programmes and thanked the media for extended coverage of the events regularly for the benefit of general public. Vigilance annual Magazine "CON-DOUR" was also released on the occasion. At the end of the Seminar, prizes were distributed among the winners of the various competitions. |
