RDA concerned over malpractices reported at 'SMGS Labour Room' | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 30: Expressing serious over alleged malpractice in labour room at SMGS Hospital Jammu, the Resident Doctors Association (RDA) has asked general public not to offer any enticements to any paramedics, in the hospital, and cooperate with the doctors for better health care services. Referring to the recent shocking incident of alleged demand of money from the attendants by the hospital staff at labour room, the RDA spokesperson said it had shocked the doctors when it appeared in certain media section that some of employees are still indulged in the wrong practices at hospital. Dr Akhil Gupta president RDA said that our residents are working hard to streamline health care facilities to people of state and is committed to serve the poor masses. He exhorted the people not to dole out gifts or cash to any employee as they are workers of a govt department and get salaries for the job. Meanwhile, Dr Pawan said that those who will indulge in such malpractices will be punished by authorities under law so that other may get a warming. Dr Waseem Chouhan General Secretary RDA also urged common people to kindly cooperate with the doctors by regulating the restricted number of attendants at Hospital so as to de-congest the health institutes. |
