Mishal launches TV tirade against India | `India plans to kill Separatists’ | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, Oct 30: Wife of Kashmiri separatist leader and JKLF chairman, Yaseen Malik has launched a tirade on Pakistan television channels against India. According to her, Indian agencies are planning to kill separatist leaders. She said, “India is hell bent to change demography of Kashmir like it did in Jammu region in 1947 by killing one Lakh Muslims.” Early Times has access to the video (http://www.youtube.com/ watch ?v=IP9qdXs 1g3E&s ns= em). Mishal without any fear of consequences alleges that authorities in Jammu and Kashmir killed one lakh Muslims in Jammu region in 1947 for the purpose of changing demography of Jammu and Kashmir and they are pursuing the same plan yet again.” In response to a question of not including “Kashmir issue” in Ufa-Russia Joint Statement of the Prime Minister’s of India and Pakistan in July this year, Mishal said that on Eid Festival this year “India killed three people of Kashmir on the line of Control.” She said that “India is reframing the cases against separatist leaders and is pursuing a plan to target separatist leaders of Kashmir.” “Militancy has once again taken re-birth in Kashmir only after defence Minister of India said that terrorist will be killed by terrorists. India is making militants in Kashmir to kill separatists there.” Mishal alleged that “India is creating fear psychosis among common masses in Kashmir and that is why people there want freedom from India.” She alleged that “India is hell bent to create separate homeland for Pandits in Kashmir to actually change its demography.” She said the property of migrants Kashmiri Pandits was safe in Kashmir. However, a female journalist, Mehmil Sarfaraz, intervened saying they were forced out of Kashmir in 1990. Notably In July this year Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his counterpart from Pakistan, Nawaz Sharif met on the sidelines of the Sanghai Cooperation Organization summit in Ufa town of Russia and after their meeting, the two PMs issued a joint statement announcing many initiatives but there was no mention about Kashmir issue.
