FC employees threaten agitation for DA | | | Early Times Report
Kishtwar Oct 30: The State Forest Corporation (SFC) employees today criticised the state government for its failure to release 113% DA despite promises of the management. The angry employees have threatened agitation in case immediate action was not taken. According to reports, the SFC Employees Union Chenab Valley Kishtwar today held a meeting with the President Madan Lal Parihar in chair. The meeting expressed anguish over the treatment of the management towards its employees and rued the delay in releasing the 113% DA in favour of the employees of the corporation. While talking to Early Times, the President of the union said that as per order No. 2047-2124 BIX/SFC Dated 3-10-2015, the management has ensured the release of 113% DA in favour of the employees who have opted to serve the corporation under SFC rules and regulations, adding that beside the government has also extended the pensionary benefits in favour of the employees by extending the cut out date from 31-3-1983 to 30-06-1984 while as other employees in majority have been ignored despite the fact that both the groups of employees are performing same duties with similar graded salaries under the similar social responsibilities and environment. He said that this type of attitude towards the majority of employees by the management has given rise to unrest among the employees that can prove harmful for the interest of the corporation. He urged upon the chairman J&K SFC to intervene into the matter for an early settlement of the issue in favour of all the employees without any further disparity, added that in case of the failure the employees will left with no other option other than to adopt the path of agitation in accordance with the labor rules. |
