Jammu, Nov 2: Thieves broke into three shops and decamped with mobile phones, LED TV's, cash and readymade garments from these shops. A case stands registered in this regard at concerned police station and police have started investigations.
According to sources, the business establishments namely M/s Surya Sales Corp (electronic showroom), M/s Fashion Fab (Garments Showroom) and M/s Yougal Sons (Garments Showroom) are situated in ever busy Apsra Road Gandhi Nagar - the posh locality of the winter capital.
"The incident reportedly took place on Sunday night when the burglars broke into the shops, police sources said. While quoting one of shop owner Indu Bhushan Sharma, sources said, "Burglars by breaking the shutter of top floor and stole four costly mobile phones and some cash from the shop."
"The theft came to light the next morning when owner opened the shop and found broken shutter. He informed the Police Station Gandhi Nagar, they added.
Sources added that team headed by SHO Gandhi Nagar Bishnesh Kumar along with the the forensic experts rushed to the spot collected circumstantial evidence from the crime spot and also collected first hand information from the owners and the sales personnel at the burgled business establishments. Meanwhile a case has been registered in this regard and further investigations are on. |
