JAMMU, Nov 2 : Kanav Manva, Furhan Wani and Rohit Chib among five cueists today qualified for the quarterfinals stages of the junior snooker event in the ongoing 23rd Jammu District Billiards and Snooker Championship at Billiards Hall, MA Stadium, here.
Other two winners in the pre-quarterfinals stages of the competition were Mandeep Singh and TRarun Rana, who beat their opponents in close contests. Meanwhile, the senior snooker competition started today. Vipan Malhi, Arjun Singh, Chetanya Sharma, Jaswinder Singh and Sanad Sharma won their respective matches to advance in the competition.
