Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 2: Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation (JKMEF) criticized the formation of new duty roster and demanded for its immediate withdrawal in order to carry on the work smoothly in the district hospitals under Director Health Services Jammu. In a press statement issued here, JKMEF led by president, Sushil Sudan and general secretary Vinod Kumar Sharma visited Kathua, Samba, Poonch, Rajouri, Reasi, Kishtwar, Thatri, Doda, Ramban and Udhampur and also discussed problems being faced by employees. All areas presidents and members were present during meetings. During meetings, all employees led president Sushil Sudan highlighted their demands including permanent solution of salary under 2211 Family Welfare Head and creation of posts of LHVs in new PHCs, Creation of posts of Block Pharmacy Officer/ District Pharmacy Officer, Enhancement of FTA of Basic Health Workers from Rs. 45/- to Rs.1000/- per month and issue of RMP certificate after retirement, Conducting of DPC of all Para Medical staff viz Dental, Lab, Opthalmic, X-Ray and other categories including Clerical cadre, Creation of posts of Head Asset's at Block level and Section Officer in all Old CMO Office, Removal of pay anomalies, Enhancement of Uniform allowance of Nurses and upgradition of their grades, the wages of employees engaged under HDF be raised at par with daily wagers and quote be fixed for their regularization in the concerned institutions, Change of Uniform of ASHA workers and others. They demanded higher officials of Health Department to redressal their demands. |
