AIBCU criticizes BJP-PDP Government | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 2: All India Backward Classes Union organized a meeting under the chairmanship of his president Abdul Majid Malik and took stock of the working of BJP-PDP Government towards the welfare of State OBCs. The participants and the speakers concluded that the State Govt. is not serious for the State OBCs in view of the non-redressal of the long pending but most genuine demands. During Lok Sabha/ Assembly elections Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his team raised the issue of Mandal Report in the state. Now, BJP is part of the State Govt. with the highest tally and this is the high time for it to grant 27% reservation to the State OBCs for more strengthening their party in the State. Besides other reservation components like: (a) Enhancement of creamy layer from 4.5 lac to 6 lac which the Centre Govt. has already enhanced about three years back and the State OBCs are suffering a lot in the absence of this. (b) Renewal of OBC certificate on the basis of Income certificate as caste of a person does not change after each five years and creamy layer is the criteria meant for it. (c) One and only one certificate on the name of OBC instead of OSC |
