| CUJ commemorates birth anniversary of former President of India, Kalam | | | | Jammu, Nov 2 : Central University of Jammu (CUJ) today organized a national level seminar on the birth anniversary of former President of India, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam in auditorium at Temporary Administration Block (TAB) in Sainik Colony Jammu. According to press release, a large number of students were participated enthusiastically in the seminar. Besides nearly 20 presentations were held covering a range of themes such as role of youth in nation building through education, creativity in student life, relevance of applied learning, exploring new areas of education, issues in research in higher education and applied research and contribution to the society. On this occasion, Prof RD Sharma, Vice Chancellor Jammu University was the chief guest . In his keynote Prof. R.D Sharma stressed upon the need to build a creative culture rather than building a culture of protest. In addition he also stressed upon the need to enhance examination and admission systems on the whole. The occasion was also graced by Prof Ashok Aima, Vice Chancellor of Central University of Jammu and Prof LokeshVerma , Academic Co-ordinator ,Central University of Jammu. While expressing his view, Prof Aima mentioned that apart from being an accomplished scientist and an academician.
