Three injured in road mishap, two referred to GMCH | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, Nov 2: Atleast three people were injured in road mishap near Maggar Khad Kathua in a motorcycle and bus collision here today. Later two of the injured were referred to the Govt Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu. Police sources said that the mishap took place early in the morning when a bike bearing regd no:PB35 U-4668 collided with a passenger bus bearing regd no: JK08C -5353 on its way to Basohli resulting critical injuries to three persons. “Initial reports said that the biker was crossing temporary diversion that caused accident, they added. “The injured have been identified as Mukesh Kumar (19) s/o Kartar Chhand of Jarai, Darshana Devi (50) w/o Kartar Chand of Jarai and Kanso Devi (45) w/o Puran Chand R/o Jarai, Kathua, sources said adding, “after giving necessary first aid the two injured Mukesh and Darshana were referred to GMCH Jammu for their critical injuries.” When contacted DDC Kathua, Ramesh Kumar said the instructions have been passed out to concerned authority to block wrong diversion if there is any. He said district administration has planned to build speed breakers on roads where ever their requirement is necessary especially intersection with National Highway.
