JHCC to appraise regional bias to Centre Govt 11/22/2015 10:17:22 PM Jammu, Nov.22: A six member team of Jammu Heritage Conservation Club (JHCC) besides three delegates from Ladakh left for Delhi today for apprising various Union Ministries about the discrimination being meted out in the State to their respective regions by vested elements in the state government. In a press statement issued in Jammu, JHCC accused the state authorities of duping the Central Government by furnishing fudged data about its three distinct regions constituting the state for extorting extra funds under various schemes in the name of economic, social and educational backwardness of these areas. JHCC has prepared a comprehensive note based on the statistical data available with various departments in Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh based on the factual position witnessed on the ground. "Cores of rupees have been swindled in the process and the people belonging to Jammu and Ladakh regions have been deprived of their rightful shares over the years. The backwardness of Jammu and Ladakh regions can't be hidden from anybody.
