BMO Darhal suspends two employees | | | Early Times Report Rajouri, Nov 22: For remaining on an unauthorized absent and for not getting proper permission to move on casual leave, Block Medical Officer (BMO) Darhal in Rajouri district has suspended two employees and stopped the salaries of other two. On Friday Dr Iqbal Malik, BMO Darhal paid surprise visits to Community Health Centre (CHC) and Primary Health Centre (PHC) at Thanamandi and Shahdhara Sharief respectively and found two employees on unauthorized absent at PHC and two employees without proper permission at CHC. BMO paid surprise visit to PHC at Sha Jamola till further orderhdhara Sharief at about 5.30 pm and found Shamim Akhter, Nursing Orderly (NO) and Mohd Qayoom, Safaiwala on an unauthorized absent. Both have been suspended on spot and directed to report at BMO's office at Darhal. At CHC at Thanamandi, BMO found Abdul Ganai, safaiwala left the hospital at 7 pm while Mohd Maqsood, NO had submitted casual leave but was not sanctioned by the higher authority (by BMO). Explanation has been sought from both the employees and till then their salaries were withheld by the BMO. Meanwhile Chief Education Officer (CEO) Rajouri has also suspended a teacher of a primary school for allegedly remaining on an unauthorized absent from duty. CEO , Ch Altaf Hussain said that after several complaints , Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) .Peeri was directed to conduct inquiry and it was established that the teacher namely Shahbaz was not attending the school at Demote Jamola regularly. On the report of ZEO, the said teacher was suspended by the CEO and was directed to report to principal, higher secondary school at Jamola till further order. |
