| On New Year eve, Saint Madhu Parmhans delivers religious sermon | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 31: Saint Madhu Param Hans ji Maharaj, the spiritual head of Sahib Bandgi Panth while delivering a sermon on the eve of New Year, congratulated all Jammu people.
In his religious discourse, the religious preacher exhorted his followers that the saints have accorded a high status to a guru in the whole of Brahmand. "These gurus had often participated in wars against others. But the Saint line has seated the guru at a higher place. After all what is the special thing that the gurus possess.
"What task does a guru perform! Some say that the guru blesses with a 'Nam'; others say that he makes the devotees polite while some say that he provides spiritual knowledge, he said, adding," there seems to be no satisfactory answer to it."
"The guru blesses with a miraculous and rare 'Nam' that enables the jiva to reach its original abode. None of the 84 lakh jivas has the power to change completely the genetic structure. Though the scientists are making attempts in this regard, yet they have not succeeded in doing so, he added.
Religious head Saint Paramhans said, "A perfect spiritual master possesses a wonderful and rare thing and is why a high status has been accorded to him."
"A true guru has rare power hidden in his Surti and he transfers the same into the interior of the disciple," he said and added,"But it is perfect Satguru alone who has the power to transfer his qualities into a devotee within a minute. |
