| DPP demands trifurcation of J&K | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 3: Urging the union government to trifurcate the Jammu & Kashmir State into three different states of the Indian union on the basis of their separate identities, culture and political aspirations as, the Duggar Pradesh Party (DPP) described it the sole alternative and solution of all the political problems of three regions of the state.
This was stated by President DPP, Uday Chand, while addressing a secretariat meeting of the party.
He said the people of three regions-Jammu, Kashmir & Ladakh have given their political consent in last assembly elections that they are culturally separate and they are politically separate too. He said the people of Jammu were exploited on the political aspirations of Jammu region by the BJP and the PDP exploited the political aspirations of people of Kashmir and Ladakh people were too exploited by the BJP by supporting their long demand of Union Territory to their region.
Uday Chand said the present political chaos in formation of government after the death of Late Mufti Mohd Sayeed, Chief Minister, is only due to separate political aspirations that too for
Kashmir region by the PDP but the leaderless BJP have forgotten / unaware about the political aspirations of the people of Jammu region and they are just after power at all costs. |
