Burglars decamped with Rs 70,000 cash, house hold items

Jammu, Mar 13: Police sources said that Roop Lal, son of Roshan Lal, Resident of House Number 77, Jogi Gate Gujjar Nagar, stated in his complaint that some unidentified barged into his house after breaking the lock and decamped with valuables worth several hundreds.
Roop Lal, a shopkeeper who runs a shop at Narwal further said that there are three family members in his family and yesterday in the morning he went Narwal at around 10 AM and his wife went to drop their daughter to school.
After she returned back, she found that the lock of front door was broken while the locks of trunks were also found broken. "Cash amount to the tune of Rs. 70,000 was kept in the trunk along with unstitched clothes, gold ear rings, anklets (Payals) were also found stolen.
Police have registered a case and started investigation in this regard.
