| Jammu, Mar 17: Six training programmes were conducted in On Farm School during Rabi 2015-16 at village Khadergal, Block Bari Brahmana, District Samba, under National Mission on Agricultural Extension and Technology. During the programmes twenty eight numbers of farmers participated in On Farm School. In each training programme technical message on soil health card, organic based technology by using farm yard manure, use of bio pesticides trichoderma, seed treatment, soil treatment, land preparation, use of balance dose of Fertilizer, importance of crown root initiation stage, Weed control, use of selective weedicides, disease in wheat crop, symptoms of yellow rust, spray schedule to control yellow rust, identification of pest / natural enemies during field visit, importance of integrated pest management, store grain pest and seed production technology on wheat crop. Dy Project Director ATMA Ashok Gupta, during the training programmes review feedback from the participants and deliver lecture regarding importance of training programmes in on FARM School for betterment of the farming community and above all for the betterment of production and productivity in farmers field. |
