BJP, PDP leaders making 'bogus' claims | | | Early Times Report jammu, Mar 17: BJP and PDP leaders are making bogus claims about government formation in Jammu and Kashmir as they are unaware about the developments that are taking place, sources told Early Times on Thursday. "Despite admitting in close door meetings that the party high command was not even discussing the issue, the BJP leaders in JK, particularly the former ministers, are publically claiming that government would be formed soon. This claim, in contradiction to reality. Similar claim is also being made by the former PDP ministers for sustenance of their stature before public and more particularly administration," sources said. While elaborating, sources explained that these leaders fear losing esteem as well as de-facto command on administration once it isestablished that there has been no progress on Government formation and chances of their coming back to power are desolate. "This is the only reason that both BJP and PDP headquarters in Jammu are agog with speculations that Government is likely to be formed in next two-three days," sources added. No senior BJP leader in the high command, according to the sources, has discussed the issue with any of the BJP leaders Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh, who was also in New Delhi for two days till yesterday, could not dare to ask about fate of theGovernment formation, sources said. Even as Nirmal Singh met Ram Madhav as well as Nitin Gadkari, Rajnath Singh and others, there was not even a single word uttered about the possibility of Government formation, top BJP sources informed.
