The girl approached the Court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kishtwar, who issued directions to Kishtwar police under section 156 (3) of CrPC, asking police to investigate the claims made by the girl in her complaint filed by her before the court.
Police sources said the girl filed complaint against Mohammad Rashid Khan, son of Mohammad Yousaf Khan of Noor Nagar, Jamia Nagar, New Delhi, alleging that he had uploaded her photographs on social networking sites with an aim to disrepute her and her family image by falsely claiming that he was her husband as a result of which her engagement was broken.
She stated that she had gone to Delhi in 2011 for pursuing higher education where she met the accused through a common friend and added that during her studies, she and the accused met often and even started talking on mobile phone.

She stated that to save herself from the ill designs of the accused, she shifted to her native home, but he continued to harass her, but he crossed the limits when he uploaded and circulated her doctored photographs with an aim to dent her reputation.
She said he also uploaded the fake documents claiming that she was her wife, while in reality, she had never married him. She stated that she had approached the court, following police refusal not to entertain her complaint.
After hearing her, CJM Balbir Singh Jaswal directed SHO of Kishtwar police station to investigate the matter under section 156 (3) of Cr PC.
